To provide the best quality, Doi Dep puts a lot of effort into finding the best suited land for planting. This must be over 1,200m high, with lots of watery slopes and fertile basalt soil, for the best coffee beans to bloom in the cool mist, fruiting in the sunshine and inheriting the flavor of its motherland.
For the purest taste that has not gone away with the time, Doi Dep selects coffee from the oldest varieties, with smaller, stiffer and heavier beans, containing ideal levels of sugar and caffeine.

ARABICA CAU DAT
Cau Dat is one of the best lands for planting Arabica, located at elevations of 1,500m with the basalt soil of the Lam Vien plateau, perfectly fitting Doi Dep’s high standards.
Belonging to the Arabica family, this has a yellow coat when ripe. Yellow Bourbon is the first coffee variety introduced to Vietnam by the French people and is slowly being forgotten because of limited production due to strict requirements on altitude, climate and soil.
A special combination of coffee beans of many types of coffee, each Culi fruit only has one bean rather than two like with other coffee fruits.
Guatemala is one of the top five largest coffee producers in the world. With a diverse climate and rich soil, Guatemala is a wonderful land to produce premium Arabica.
Ethiopia is an important international coffee producer. With highlands at elevations from 1,500 to 2,200 meters, Ethiopia is an ideal place to produce high-class coffee.
